Aushadhi Bhavan

(The Institution of manufacturing scientifically proven Ayurvedic Medicines)

The Factory of the Institution producing science-based Ayurvedic medicines has always been on the front in the field of the manufacturing Ayurvedic medicines. High standard medicines using methods based on Ayurvedic science are produced in the factory and the golden mean between the traditional methodology of the production of these medicines are produced in the factory out of which 128 are as per the old text books of Ayurved, where 22 are based on the clinical experience. The medicines produced are prepared under the valuable guidance of Vaidyas, no compromise is made regarding their quality. Aushadhi Bhavan now looks forward to establish a department of research & development. The Ayurvedic formulations referred to the old valuable books will be studied scientifically and the department will endeavor to bring into the market new medicinal extract of low production cost, which the economically backward people can easily afford to purchase. Similarly institute is thinking of setting up an ultra modern laboratory so as to bring out high quality medicines by the way of standardization of Ayurvedic medicines. New technology has been introduced in Aushadi bhavan for manufacturing of high quality Kadha (Kashaya), Asava, Arishte. The products of Aushadhi bhavan are being distributed all over Maharashtra as well as Gujarath, Goa, Andhrapradesh, Madhyapradesh, Tripura, Uttaranchal, Karanataka etc.

Ayurved Mahavidyalaya

(The unit Imparting Graduate and Post Graduate Education of Ayurved)

The Ayurved Mahavidyalaya is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences as well as Pune University and has recognition of CCIM – New Delhi. College received various grants for central Govt. and State Govt. The admission to BAMS, MD(Medicine), MD(Panchakarma), MD(Surgery) courses are given by the college. The college participates in National Health Programmes arranged through NSS. Continuous efforts are made to maintain the educational and professional merit of students to secure high rank at the university examination and overall result of the college is always commendable.

Arogyashala Rugnalaya

(Low Cost Medical Treatment Unit)

Arogyashala was established in 1954 with the aim of propagating the importance of Ayurvedic Diagnostic methods. At present there is a provision of 150 Beds in the the Hospital. There are 4 Departments in the hospital namely – 1. Medicine 2. Surgery 3. ENT, Opthamlmology 4. Gynaecology and obstretics. departments. The Special feature of the Hospital is the Ayurvedic Panchakarma Department. There is an operation theater along with an Intensive Vare Unit and a department of X-Ray and Pathology Laboratory. Expert Doctors extend their Services to the Hospital. The Vaidyas in this hospital provide medical services to the people in Adivasi regions with the help of certain social organizations.

Ayurved Patrika

This Magazine is dedicated to the cause of Propagation and propaganda of Ayurved. It is being published since 1947. Different articles discussing Ayurvedic science are published every year. Diagnostic methods for selected patients are discussed in this. Due Publicity is given to the various events to the happening in the field of Ayurvedic medicine. Ayuved Patrika is now national scientific research journal of Ayurved.

The Ayurved is not only medical science but science of life. Its importance is ever growing even in the modern times. Research in the field of medicine is in progress on large scale in the modern world. This view the research department is established in 1994. This department makes necessary research in Ayurved prove the utility of this science even in these modern days. A research laboratory is developed in name of Late AppaShastri Sathye which is well furnished with essential equipments. A research work has been geared up to bring out new Ayurvedic Patent Medicines in the market for the cure of minor ailments. It is decide to raise research fund to creating research attitude among students and to encouraging them to take up research projects department is planning to start different Research fellowships.
